MONSTER
DRAG ARTIST, TRANSGENDER MAN, HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER: THE MONSTER IS HERE!
MONSTER is one hilarious and sobering rollercoaster ride of a transgender man grappling with society's fear of the unknown, and their hell-bent attitude to living a proud, fabulous, and truthful life in the face of transphobia.
Based on Florians’s eye-opening, outrageous and hilarious experiences of navigating the world as an out and proud transgender man, high school teacher, and drag artist, Florian offers up commentary on everything from transitioning during uni, teaching in high schools, and being gay for Veggietales. Ultimately, this show speaks to the seldom heard voices of transgender men who still use eyelash glue.
With a suite of stripped back, raw, and powerful renditions of pop and jazz songs with a queer bent to them, this solo comedy cabaret is drag debauchery, razor sharp wit, and quintessential cabaret dialled up to eleven!
